Top 5 iOS Navigation and Maps Apps in Oman: Q1 2025 Performance

In the first quarter of 2025, the top navigation and maps apps on the iOS platform in Oman showed varied performance trends, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here's a look at the weekly downloads and active user trends for the top five apps.

Google Maps experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting the quarter with approximately 4.8K downloads and peaking at 6.8K in late January. However, downloads dipped to around 2.5K by early March. The app's weekly active users remained relatively stable, ranging from 102K to 126K throughout the quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw a peak in downloads at 1.3K in early February, followed by a decline to about 389 by the beginning of March. Active users increased over the quarter, starting at 84K and reaching nearly 99K by the end of March.

Google Earth maintained a consistent download rate, with numbers ranging from 450 to 700 downloads weekly. The active user base was stable, fluctuating between 1.1K and 1.5K throughout the quarter.

Speedometer 55 GPS Speed & HUD had relatively low download numbers, peaking at 491 in March. Weekly active users remained steady, averaging around 1.3K to 1.4K.

MapXplorer: Navigation, Radar showed notable growth in both downloads and active users. Downloads increased from 25 at the start of January to over 400 by the end of March. Active users climbed from 789 to over 2.1K during the same period.
